I am a freelance developer in Zaandam, next to Amsterdam, and MySQL is part of backend and data: 6 projects since 2012, listed below.
- ⟶ now work Morgen is Nu: making a large catalogue easier to shop A holistic supplement shop has to serve both people who know exactly what they want and people still finding their way. I look after Morgen is Nu’s development, from product search to the checkout.
- ⟶ now Kwantor Kwantor: turning participation agreements into software I led development of a platform connecting participation agreements, contributor work and equity allocation. The main challenge was keeping the document someone signs consistent with the rules the software executes.
- work Multihaarden: a fireplace shop I built and maintained Multihaarden’s storefront, API and editorial tools from scratch, to make them outperform all competitors with their 100% lighthouse score whilst keeping a media rich website.
- ⟶ work WEYU: NFT creator tool, launchpad & marketplace I worked on WEYU's platform in a team of about eight. There was a marketplace, a creator toolbox + launchpad and Discord bots. My job started with "WEYU pieces" which was a massive collaborative charity project in collaboration with UNHCR.
- ⟶ work MijnOefening: physiotherapist app I worked on the original Drupal version at Itsavirus, then returned in 2020 to help launch a Laravel rebuild. My later work focused on the public site, a usable demo and a coherent dashboard around the existing application.
- Itsavirus Salt: a magazine site with a subscriber side I helped build Salt’s Drupal website in 2012, bringing editorial sections, a shop and subscriber benefits into one site. Members could access exclusive downloads and pay subscriber prices on the same product pages.
