I am a freelance developer in Zaandam, next to Amsterdam, and Convex is part of backend and data: 2 projects since 2025, listed below.
The backend I reach for when a product needs to feel live: the database, the functions and the realtime sync are one thing, so there is no cache to keep honest.
- — now Guidesty Guidesty, a group travel planner A trip planner a group edits together: an itinerary board on a map, polls, a shared budget, lists and a chat, with an AI that drafts the days. Still being built.
- — UpLinked UpLinked, an AI LinkedIn content platform rebuilt from Bubble on Convex A LinkedIn writing tool for Dutch entrepreneurs, moved off Bubble onto Convex with six agents, a versioned prompt database, three models writing every post, and 196,000 rows carried across.
